About me
I have been teaching for 34 years and early on I learned how to change with the times. I have taught Elementary Music, Dyslexia Training, Band, and Secondary Social Studies (all of the middle school courses and World Geography, World History, and U.S. History). I taught AP Human Geography for 10 years in another district. This year I have one section of AP World History, one Dual Credit World History, and several U.S. History). Anna is my fourth school district. Previously I have taught in Childress, DeSoto, and Richardson, so I have taught in both rural and urban schools. I have a Masters' in American History and am working on a PhD in Educational Psychology (Gifted and Talented) at UNT. I live in Allen with my family. I have two grown children and try to keep busy so I don't drive them crazy! I also perform with a Plano-based flute ensemble.
