About me

This is my 16th year in education and 4th year with Anna ISD. I have taught Kindergarten and 1st grade as well as served as a Reading Interventionist, Gifted and Talented Specialist and Language Acquisition Specialist before I became a Dyslexic Therapist. I LOVE helping students overcome challenges and learn to read! I have a blended family, 5 kids total and 4 of them attend Anna ISD schools. (PreK, 5th, 6th and 10th grades, my 3 year old will be joining us soon!) My most exciting news currently is that my husband has decided to get his alternative teaching certificate, so he will be starting his own professional education journey soon!
