About me
Howdy! I'm a yearbook adviser, Principles of AAVTC teacher, UIL Debate Coach, & UIL Journalism Coach, and a type B teacher. After starting my professional career in advertising, I joined the dark side; this will be my 12th year teaching and I just can't get enough. I have taught quite a few courses including journalism, newspaper, broadcast journalism, professional communications, advanced academics, oral interpretation, and coordinated TPSP and IGC projects. I tend to "wear many hats." I love photography and run a small business doing outdoor portrait photography. I nerd out for typography, unicorns, puns, musicals, and Harry Potter. I try to spend my weekends doing silly projects with my wife & two young sons, and when I'm lucky, I get to listen to some podcasts, kayak, hike, and read books for fun.
